SIZE & FIT GUIDE

Choosing the perfect eyewear can be a complex process. This guide is intended to help you find the right model for you. All glasses have different functional and aesthetic characteristics. We use three main pieces of information to determine these attributes:

WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE FRAME?

The size of the frame counts as functional information, which is defined by a leading number:

• Distance from hinge to hinge: the width of the frame measured from the inside of the eyewear from the center of each hinge.

FrameSize_it_d

This information defines the following sizes:

Hinge to Hinge (mm) | Cut it

• <121 | XXS
• 121-124 | XS
• 125-128 | St
• 129-132 | m
• 133-136 | L
• 137-140 | XL
• >140 | XXL

OTHER SIZES

If you already own a pair of glasses, you will see some numbers engraved inside the temple:

The first concerns the model name , then we have the lens width and the bridge width . There is usually a third number that represents the length of the temple , which is the measurement in millimeters of the "arms" of the frame. Sometimes there is also a fourth number, indicating the height of the lens .

Each of these numbers is measured in mm .

WHAT IS FIT?

The fit is an aesthetic information that determines the amount of face cover for a certain size .

LARGE FIT

LARGE FIT

As you can see in the image, they are in stock three different fits to choose from. They are not related to size, but rather to lens width .

The three possible fits are:

• Strict: a small front lens for those who prefer to cover the face only minimally.

• Regular: a medium front lens designed for those who prefer to cover a medium part of the face.

• Ample: a larger front lens designed for those who prefer to cover more of the face.

WHAT ARE THE BRIDGE AND THE NOSE PADS?

This functional information describes the different types of bridge and nosepads.

Bridge_Nose_d

The four possible bridge and nosepad options are:

High bridge fit: offers a more secure and comfortable fit for those with high nose bridge and low cheekbones. A good choice if the bridge of the nose is above the level of the pupils.

• Low bridge fit: offers a more secure and comfortable fit for those with low nose bridge and high cheekbones. A good choice if the glasses tend to slide down the nose, sit too low or press against the temples or cheeks.

• Universal fit: this option is suitable for most face shapes.

• Adjustable nosepads: nose pads that can be widened or narrowed to fit the specific shape of your nose.
